Job Description

Floatingpoint builds datasets that train AI models to work with documents the way humans do. Founded in November 2023 and backed by Y Combinator (W24), Alt Capital, and notable angels, we're a team with deep experience in document AI.

Our team previously built Chunkr, one of the leading document parsing APIs in the space, which gave us firsthand insight into what ML teams actually need: high-quality, real-world data. Floatingpoint is our answer to that. We're now scaling our data operations to serve foundational model labs, enterprise ML teams, and startups building the next generation of document understanding.

We're a US-based company opening our India office and looking for people who want to be part of building something foundational from the ground up, with the backing and stability of an established, revenue-generating business.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain all IT infrastructure for the office—including computers, devices, and secure network systems—during the initial launch and as the team scales.
